Learn how to deploy, manage, and protect VMware virtual infrastructure on NetApp® storage by using NetApp ONTAP® software in SAN and NAS environments. Explore NetApp ONTAP tools for VMware vSphere, which includes Virtual Storage Console (VSC), NetApp VASA (vSphere API for Storage Awareness) Provider, and Storage Replication Adapter (SRA). Configure and use ONTAP tools Open Virtualization Appliance (OVA) to create traditional datastores, VMware vSphere Virtual Volumes (vVols), and vVols datastores. Use VSC to create these datastores for granular virtual machine (VM) storage policy-based management (SPBM).
