This course covers all the core features of Docker including: container creation and management, interacting with Docker hub, using Dockerfile to create and manage custom images, advanced Docker networking (how to safely expose container services to the world, and link containers), the use of Docker volumes to manage persistent data, and Docker Compose to build multi-container applications.

This course combines the GL340 Docker and GL360 Kubernetes Administration courses.

This course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 4.3 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux® 7.6 and 8, as well as Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure for Virtualization 1.6.

This course provides the learner with an in-depth understanding of how to manage, monitor and maintain a functional VPLEX system. Operational aspects of VPLEX (Local and Metro) using Unisphere for VPLEX and the VPLEX CLI are covered. Lab exercises provide hands-on experience. Provisioning virtualized storage from VPLEX to hosts and performing mobility and mirroring operations on live virtual volumes is emphasized. Integration of VPLEX into existing data centers with live production data and interoperability considerations are included.
